Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
This policy explains how ImgCon handles information when you visit imgcon.online and use its image tools. ImgCon is a browser-based utility. For privacy questions or requests, contact the site operator at imgcon72@gmail.com.
Images and local processing
When you select a file, ImgCon uses browser features such as image decoding and the HTML canvas to preview, crop, resize, convert, compress, adjust and export it. Image editing and PDF generation are performed on your device. The selected image and generated result are not sent to an ImgCon image-processing server, and ImgCon does not create an account or image library for you. The browser may temporarily keep image data in memory while the page is open; closing the page or replacing a file releases the app's active references, subject to normal browser and device behavior.
Do not use the tool on a shared or managed device unless you are permitted to do so. ImgCon cannot control local device backups, browser extensions, screen capture, or other software running on your device.
Information that may be processed to operate the site
ImgCon does not ask you to register and does not intentionally collect image contents or account details. Like most websites, the hosting, delivery and security providers may receive technical request information when a page or file is requested. Depending on the provider's configuration, this can include an IP address, requested URL, date and time, browser or device information, referring page, and error or security events. This information is handled by those providers under their own terms and retention practices to deliver, maintain and protect the website. Contact messages you choose to send are received through your email provider and may include your email address and the details you write.
The website loads third-party resources, including a styling library, a ZIP utility, and Google advertising code. Those providers may receive technical connection data when your browser requests their resources. ImgCon does not control their systems or independent privacy practices.
Advertising, cookies and similar technologies
ImgCon includes Google AdSense publisher code, but advertising availability depends on Google's review and serving decisions. If Google ads are served, Google and its partners may use cookies, local storage, device identifiers or similar technologies to deliver ads, limit repetition, measure performance, detect invalid activity and, where permitted by your choices and applicable law, personalize advertising. These providers may process information such as browser identifiers, IP address, ad views or interactions, and general device or page information. They do not receive the image file through ImgCon's image editor.
Google's use of information from sites and apps that use its services is described in Google's Partner Sites policy. You can review or adjust ad personalization in Google Ads Settings. You can also manage or delete cookies using your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect advertising features but does not prevent local image editing.
Where consent is legally required, non-essential advertising storage or access should only be used after valid consent has been obtained through an appropriate consent mechanism. Consent choices may be changed or withdrawn through that mechanism where provided. The operator must use an appropriate Google-certified consent management platform when required by Google policy and applicable law; this policy does not itself collect consent.
Purposes and legal bases (EEA, UK and similar jurisdictions)
Where data-protection law applies, technical processing needed to deliver and secure the website may be based on the operator's legitimate interests in providing and protecting the service, subject to your rights. Responding to a message you send is based on taking steps at your request or the operator's legitimate interest in support. Advertising cookies, personalized ads, or optional measurement technologies are based on consent where consent is required; you may refuse or withdraw that consent without affecting your ability to use the image editor. Legal obligations may require limited processing or retention.
ImgCon does not use selected images for advertising, profiling, or training. The image editor does not transmit those image files to ImgCon.
Retention and security
ImgCon does not retain images on an image-processing server. Technical request logs, if maintained by hosting or security providers, are retained according to those providers' operational, security and legal requirements. Email correspondence is retained only as needed to respond, maintain relevant records, and meet legal obligations. No website can guarantee absolute security; use a device and browser you trust and keep copies of important originals.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or complain to a data-protection authority. To make a request, email imgcon72@gmail.com and describe the request and relevant interaction. We may need to verify your request and may retain information where the law permits or requires it.
For California residents, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (CCPA) may provide rights to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain information about personal information, and to opt out of certain sale or sharing or limit certain uses of sensitive personal information. Depending on hosting and advertising configuration, categories that may be processed by service providers include identifiers (such as IP address or browser identifiers) and internet or electronic network activity (such as a requested page or interaction with an advertisement). These details may come from your browser or device and are used to deliver, secure, measure or, where permitted, personalize the service and advertising. ImgCon does not sell personal information for money and does not use image files for cross-context behavioral advertising. If an advertising practice is treated as “sharing” under applicable law, contact imgcon72@gmail.com to exercise an applicable opt-out right. ImgCon does not discriminate against people for exercising privacy rights.
Children, international visitors and policy changes
ImgCon is a general-purpose tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information by email, contact us so that we can address it. Website providers and advertising partners may process information in countries other than yours, subject to their safeguards and legal obligations.
We may update this policy when the service or applicable requirements change. The “Last updated” date identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
